German Village is a historic community just south of Downtown Columbus and is known for its charming brick streets and 19th Century homes. Listed on the National Historic Register, German Village is a tight-knit urban neighborhood, with a slew of shops and some of the city’s finest restaurants (Lindey’s, Barcelona and G. Michaels to name a few) all within walking distance. The German Village Society organizes numerous events throughout the year and is a great starting place for people wanting to learn more about this historic neighborhood. I’ve lived in German Village since 2005. As a Realtor in same community where I live, I enjoy a front seat at what’s new in the market and what direction the wind is blowing in local real estate.
