Merion Village

Located just south of German Village, Merion Village is home to historic houses, churches, schools, a hospital and businesses. The community is a vibrant and special place. Many of the people residing in the area have strong family ties dating back to the early 1900s. The neighborhood continues to attract new families and individuals for many of the same reasons it did almost a century ago: pleasant, affordable and solidly built housing, strong neighborhood institutions, and easy access to area employers. Many Merion Village residents enjoy the easy commute to jobs downtown, nearby Nationwide Children’s Hospital and Grant Medical Center and Ohio State University.

Numerous restaurants dot the area, offering cuisine for every palate. Local favorites include the South Village Grille, Mid City Garage, Valters at the Maennerchor, Skillet and, for coffee & pastries, The Fox In The Snow
